Lower Fees. Yep, You Read That Right.

“Everyone is working harder than ever to keep things moving.”

Here was our client, shaking their head. Prices for everything are going up, budgets are tighter, and it is harder to find support. We have heard versions of this same story from leaders of all industries this year.

And we get it.

As a small business, we are feeling these shifts too. 2026 will be our 5th anniversary, a milestone were are very proud of and one that reflects long days, hard decisions, and tons of effort. Just like many of you, we’re feeling that pinch. Small business ownership is a rollercoaster ride. Some days it feels engaging and some days it feels overwhelming. Most of the time all in the same day.

The great part of being small is that we can shift when we need to, especially when it comes to serving our clients. Over the past year, we noticed more leaders saying no to needed HR support simply because budgets were tight. While we at PCG pride ourselves on our values, we asked ourselves if there was a way to make our services more accessible.

One of our values is “Make Collective Contributions,” and we firmly believe in helping businesses and their employees succeed together, in a creative, inclusive way. The most obvious place to start is money. We hashed it out and crunched numbers, we talked about the scope of our services, we ran line by line to understand our deliverables, and it became clear that we could make a meaningful change that benefits clients and still honors the work of our team

Starting now, PCG is lowering our basic rate by 19%.

Why 19%? Honestly, because the numbers showed that we can do it while still supporting our team and doing our best work for our clients.

This adjustment will show up in new project pricing and hourly assignments. Our handbook design and HR audit fees remain unchanged, and our 15% nonprofit discount stays in place.

Even with this rate change, you can expect the same level of service, responsiveness, and partnership from the PCG team. Small businesses are the engine of local and national economies, and at PCG, we’re committed to helping that engine grow stronger, not stall out.

By making our services easier to access, we’re able to support the people who are actually building and running things day in and day out. We don’t take that lightly, and we are honored to be part of the great work you are doing.
