Gifts are my love language and I take pride in gifting well. During the holidays, I love reading curated gift lists, no matter how weird or inaccessible they are. Totally possible that making gift lists is my dream job. (Sorry, PCG!)

Gift lists are just so simple and effective, helping you jumpstart your brain for a few new ideas. Everyone suffers a little from knowing your giftees either too well or not enough, which is exactly where a good list comes in clutch.

And yes, I know the current state of the economy makes the thought of gifts a little stressful, but that's why we are focusing on small or local businesses, especially our fellow woman-owned businesses. Your dollars always matter more when you shop small!

321 Coffee Reunion Dark Roast Holiday Blend, $17

We met founder Lindsay Wrege this fall and we support her mission 100%. Based in Raleigh, NC, 321 currently employs over 50 adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. They are the ones roasting the coffee, taking the orders, and making the lattes. Lindsay and her team are demonstrating the value of an inclusive business model.

Sol Hom Winter Juniper Candle, $22

This candle smells like a walk in the forest and comes in a beautiful concrete vessel that is reusable when the candle is gone. A percentage of each sale is donated to Great Rivers Greenway, which allows them to collaborate with partners and communities to build, care for and create healthy habitats and watersheds along the way.

Another find from The Welcome Conference we attended. Will Guidara loves ice breaker games, but found them a little awkward to initiate, so he designed a standard card deck with a twist.
